- Day 1: Porto - Peneda-Geres National Park
Arrival into Porto airport where you are met by your private driver who will take you to the eastern part of Peneda-Gerês National Park. You’ll be warmly welcomed at a renovated rural cottage in a small complex of former farm buildings in the Montalegre district, where you will stay for the first 3 nights. Dinner and Overnight. - Day 2: Peneda-Geres National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a one-day guided driving tour through wolf territory where you will discover old villages and castles, wolf traps, local traditions, waterfalls, oak forests, wild horses as well as other the National Park's other treasures. Lunch. Return to your accommodation and enjoy a typical Tras-os-Montes region dinner. Overnight.
Day 3: Peneda-Geres National Park - Breakfast. Today, head off on a fantastic self-guided walking tour of the local area. A 19 km circular trail passes through many interesting places such as old pastoral paths and villages. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight.
- Day 4: Peneda-Geres National Park - Vila Real - Peso da Régua
Breakfast. An interesting day as your private driver takes you to visit the Pedras Salgadas water-bottling factory followed by lunch at a local restuarant in Vila Real. After lunch, explore the famous 18th century Baroque style Mateus Palace on a guided tour of the winery, gardens and grand family home. After the tour, your driver will take you to the Douro Valley where you will be spending the next two nights in a delightful wine hotel near Peso da Régua. Overnight. - Day 5: Peso da Régua - Valenca do Douro - Peso da Régua
After breakfast your driver will take you to Valença do Douro to start a 6km guided walking trail through the vineyards and stunning landscapes. As you walk, you’ll learn about the terroir and techniques used to cultivate the vines that contribute to fine port wines and table wines. These terraced vineyards have created a cultural landscape of extraordinary beauty, now classified as World Heritage. Enjoy a well-earned traditional lunch at Quinta do Seixo wine estate with views across the vineyards; some of its vines are over 100 years old. The estate uses advanced technology to produce top quality wines which you will discover on your tour of the cellars and wine tasting. After admiring the hand painted azulejos of Pinhão’s train station, visit Quinta do Bomfim, one of the Douro Valley’s finest vineyards where you’ll have the opportunity to tour the cellars and taste their port wine. You’ll then head back to your hotel. Overnight. - Day 6: Peso da Régua - Ervedosa do Douro - Pinhao - Porto
Breakfast.This morning’s drive takes you along the N222, voted the World’s Best Driving Road in 2015 due to the glorious undulating scenery around the River Douro. Arrival at the wine-producing village of Ervedosa do Douro, where it is time to start your Vineyards Route walking tour. Walk through an amphitheatre of vine terraces with the River Douro as your backdrop. You’ll encounter several villages with breathtaking views over the river and their curved slopes of terraced vineyards. Enjoy a gourmet picnic at Quinta das Tecedeiras, a port wine producer. After lunch cruise to the riverside village of Pinhão on a traditional Rabelo boat, formerly used to transport barrels of port wine to the cellars in Vila Nova da Gaia. After the boat trip head back to Porto. Overnight. - Day 7: Porto
Breakfast. Another World Heritage site, Porto is a place of extraordinary visual and architectural beauty. Enjoy a guided morning tour of the discovering the cities highlights. Lunch today is in a typical fish restaurant in the fishing village of Afurada where you can watch the catch of the day being grilled in the street. Afternoon free. We recommend ending the afternoon at Cálem wine cellars where you can combine two of Portugal’s greatest cultural icons, port wine and fado music. Overnight. - Day 8: Porto
Breakfast. Farewell the city as you are transferred to the airport.

Arrival in Sevilla where you are met at the airport / train station and transferred to your hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Sevilla, capital of 'Andalucia', is an energetic city with charming, tiny cobbled streets and beautiful, colourfully tiled patios. Overnight Sevilla. - Day 2: Sevilla
Breakfast. A full day to explore this exciting city. You can visit the Giralda and the Cathedral, the Reales Alcazares, Casa de Pilatos, La Maestranza (Bull Ring), the fabulous Plaza de España and the Maria Luisa Park. Tonight, enjoy a Santa cruz walk and Flamenco experience. 1hr guided walk through the old Santa Cruz quarter, which was once a Jewish ghetto. Your guide will then take you to a flamenco tablao where you will part ways and head in to enjoy a flamenco performance at your leisure. Overnight. - Day 3: Sevilla
Breakfast. A free day to further explore or perhaps take the train to visit Cordoba for the day (50mins each way). In Cordoba you can visit the city’s great Mosque and well preserved Jewish quarter. Overnight. - Day 4: Sevilla - Granada
Breakfast. Farewell the city as you take the regional train to Granada, a journey of approximately 3hrs. Arrival in Granada and make your way to your hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Granada is Spain's great Moorish city and is lively and vibrant. A walk through the Arab quarter the 'Albaizin' is well worthwhile. Overnight Granada. - Day 5: Granada
Breakfast. This morning enjoy a tour of the fabulous Palace of the Alhambra and the Gardens of the Generalife from where the last Caliph Boabdil defended the diminishing Moorish lands of 'Al-Andalus'. The Nasrid dynasty brought the Alhambra to its height and saw the completion of the palace in the 14th century. Free afternoon at leisure. Overnight. - Day 6: Granada - Ronda
Breakfast. Take the regional train to Ronda today, Queen of the white towns of Andalucia. Here you can stay at the wonderful local Parador and enjoy yourselves soaking up the local scenery and the regional cuisine. Overnight. - Day 7: Ronda
Breakfast. A day to explore the whitewashed streets of Ronda. Ronda is proud owner of the oldest bullring in Spain and was the sight of the last battle between the Moorish and Christian armies. Overnight. - Day 8: Ronda - Malaga
Breakfast. A short regional train will take you to Malaga today. Arrival and head to your hotel. Once considered the poor cousin of Andalusia’s capital city Sevilla, Malaga now competes successfully for attention, thanks to its profusion of quirky museums, delightful pedestrianised centre, innovative restaurants and stylish hotels and boutiques. Breakfast. A day to explore this wonderful city including the Casa Natal de Picasso where the painter spent his early years which is now the headquarters of the Picasso Foundation.
